City Utilities of Springfield, Mo., takes seriously its preparations for customer choice in the energy industry. Over two years ago we asked our Restructuring and Competition Task Force, consisting of six of our senior staff, to study all aspects of energy restructuring and to make specific recommendations on actions we needed to take in order to insure success in a competitive environment. The result has been a strong competitive mentality and a focus on the customer that we believe is second to none.
