Investor Digest (Malaysia) 05-16-2001 WHILE analysts are bullish on Road Builder Holdings' (RBH) expansion into the construction industry and new projects in India, they have adjusted their earnings forecast marginally due to greater competition in the property sector. The company registered a lacklustre performance in the first half of the financial year ending March 31 2001, which depressed margins.
As such, securities firm UBS Warburg has revised its RBH earnings forecast downwards by 7-10% for year 2001 to 2005. Nonetheless, it is overall optimistic about the company.
