Two new awards for research in management accounting have been created for the American Accounting Association's Management Accounting section. The awards are co-sponsored by the AICPA, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the United Kingdom and the Society of Management Accountants (CMA Canada). Together, the three organizations represent the largest collective body of management accountants in the world.
One award is for Best Early Career Researcher in Management Accounting. An award in the amount of $2,000 will be presented annually to the researcher with the best overall body of research in management accounting. Submissions are due Mar. 31.
