MOROCCO

Both the U.S. House and Senate passed implementing legislation approving the U.S.Morocco Free Trade Agreement (FTA).

The agreement is an important component of the administration's strategy to develop better trade relations with the Middle East and North Africa.

The agreement generally will benefit the telecommunications sector, because it contains provisions that ensure openness, transparency, and access to national telecommunications networks.
