Alloptic and Terracom announce first nationwide deployment of state-of-the-art optical network on African continent

RWANDA

Alloptic Inc., a pioneer in the development and deployment of Ethernet passive optical networks (ePONs), announced that Terracom has begun a nationwide roll-out in the central African country of Rwanda. Terracom's initial deployment of the Alloptic fiber access network will be in the capital city of Kigali with initial emphasis placed on providing fiber connectivity to schools, government offices, and foreign embassies.
