Bluetooth for Palm.(Brief Article)

Palm Inc is to introduce a Palm Bluetooth Card, which it claims will enable quick, easy and secure local communication within about 10 metres (30 feet) between Palm handheld units and other Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as mobile telephones, laptops, printers and network hubs.
The card, somewhat larger than a postage stamp, has been designed using the open industry-standard secure digital input/output (SDIO) specification, and can be slipped into Palm products that have the SD/MultiMediaCard expansion slot, (currently the Palm m500 and m505). The broad interoperability of SD and the SDIO standard ensures that the Palm Bluetooth Card, with the correct drivers, will work in any SD capable device.
