Most executives are not getting the competitive intelligence they need to support critical decisions, according to the latest recent market study from Knowledge Systems & Research (KS&R) Inc.
The study consisted of an extensive survey of 500 senior level executives conducted in November 2000. These executives reported several key competitive intelligence challenges and strategic needs:
* 87% consider "rapidly gathering intelligence to support critical decisions" and "developing and maintaining winning strategies" as significant current problems;
* 77% stated that intelligence to "improve accuracy and responsiveness of sales and marketing" would be the most valuable;
