McAfee Consumer Products has released an updated version of its security product suite--McAfee Internet Security 5.0. Containing the latest versions of McAfee VirusScan and McAfee Firewall, McAfee Internet Security 5.0 combats viruses, hackers and other malicious on-line threats. Featuring privacy safeguards, it allows personal computer (PC) users to encrypt confidential data, shred files, detect spyware, block unwanted advertisements, control Internet cookies and web bugs, filter questionable content and remove unneeded files.
