Jordan Telecom rebrands Wanadoo Internet services under Orange trademark

Jordan Telecom Group (JTG) rebranded the Wanadoo Internet services under the Orange trademark.

The move falls under JTG's strategic initiative to launch Orange comprehensive services in Jordanian markets.

According to JTG's chairman, Shabib Ammari, the move will align JTG's Internet services with the latest technologies, thereby revamping them. In order to join the Orange family and fully integrate with it, JTG has been undergoing significant restructuring since 2006. It consolidated its four companies - Jordan Telecom, MobileCom, Wanadoo, and e-Dimension - under one management structure and bifurcated the business into individual units: fixed, mobile, Internet, content, and wholesale.
