Why She is in the Spotlight

The spotlight is familiar territory to Elizabeth W. Kidd, CPA. Kidd was front and center on WICU-TVs (Erie NBC affiliate) take-off of the reality show, "The Apprentice," and won a scholarship to pursue a master's in business administration at Gannon University.

Kidd, chief financial officer at St. Benedict Education Center in Erie, has wanted to obtain an MBA for the last few years, and in September 2004 a unique opportunity presented itself. She heard that the local NBC affiliate was running a contest in conjunction with Gannon University that offered a full scholarship for an MBA.
