WorldTec: a window into U.S. international briefings.

A fascinating and unique source of international business information is now available on the Web, and is currently being made available for free. WorldTec, a new experimental service sponsored by the FedWorld U.S. governmental online information clearinghouse, consists of the fulltext of wires and briefings sent by U.S. embassies around the world to the U.S. Department of State.
Bob Bunge, Information Manager at FedWorld, says that these wires can be particularly good sources of information for tracking international research trends or finding research interests of various foreign governments.
