FINDING A NEWS STORY
It's frustrating to have a link to an online news story but then, upon arriving at the publisher's page, finding out that the article is either no longer accessible or is part of a more secured portion for which you need to register. A simple solution? As soon as you realize that it's going to be difficult to get to the story, just take the headline (enclosed in quotation marks) and plug it into Google. We've found that nine times out of ten, you'll find that article reprinted on some other Web site--and available to read without any rigmarole.
