The Aerospace Industries Association has named Cord Sterling to be its new vice president of legislative affairs

The Aerospace Industries Association has named Cord Sterling to be its new vice president of legislative affairs. Sterling joins AIA from the Capitol Hill office of Sen. John Warner (R-Va.), chairman of the Senate Armed Service Committee. Sterling has served as Warner's military legislative assistant for the past three years and spent seven years as a professional staff member on the committee.
Prior to working for Warner, Sterling was business development and government relations manager for EMC Corp., and worked as an evaluator for the Government Accountability Office. He earned his bachelor's degree in economics and political science and his master's in national security studies from California State University, San Bernardino. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
