This November, Salisbury, MD-based Perdue Farms will be introducing the redesigned line of PERDUE[R] DELI PICK-UPS[R], a line of prepackaged, 8-ounce sized sliced deli meats. To make the line of deli meats even more convenient than before, the processor teamed up with Pactiv Corp., Lake Forest, IL, to design a new, innovative vacuum-sealed package utilizing the Hefty[R] Slide-Rite[R] zipper technology.
Perdue's line of DELI PICK-UPS[R] was created to offer convenient, high-quality deli meats that consumers can "grab and go" at any time. Not only does the slider closure ensure freshness and maximum product shelf life, but it adds to the product's premium placement.
