Advance Food Co. markets new cooked veal and steak biscuit products.(Vincello[TM] Fully Cooked Veal Osso Buco)(Brief article)

National Provisioner's Meat & Deli Retailer, The, March, 2006

Advance Food Co., Enid, Okla., has launched Vincello[TM] Fully Cooked Veal Osso Buco, an Italian-style veal shank. Cut from the center of the foreshank to provide uniform sizing, the product is slowly cooked with carrots, tomatoes, onions and garlic in a veal demi-glace with accents of Marsala wine and Italian spices.

The supplier also is rolling out the Country Fried Steak Biscuit Sandwich with Sausage Cream Gravy as part of its 54th Street Deli Line.[TM] The product is fully cooked and individually frozen and can be heated in eight-rail Mylar[R] packaging, which is designed to extend shelf life and enable customers to see what they are buying.
