Fujitsu Siemens aims for end-to-end services

Fujitsu Siemens Computers, the Netherlands-headquartered joint venture between industrial giants Fujitsu and Siemens, has unveiled its new IT services division which will focus on providing end-to-end infrastructure solutions.
The new division is formed from the former Product Related Services unit of Siemens Business Services (SBS). which Siemens was looking to offload as part of a restructuring programme of the core business of SBS. in order to focus more on the lucrative outsourcing market. Trading as part of SBS. the division achieved approximate revenues in 2005 of euro1.3 billion with 4.400 staff operating in 22 countries. Also joining Fujitsu Siemens Computers from SBS is Neil Allpress. who will head up the new services division.
