St. Albans bars and restaurants go wireless. (Wireless High-Speed).

3Com announced that through a partnership with Wialess.com, customers in several bars in St. Albans, Hertfordshire can enjoy wireless internet access for free. Restaurants/bars offering this service so far include Harry Smiths and Barneys, with Radio Days soon to follow suit. Customers with laptops with wireless capabilities will be able to connect to the Internet anywhere within the restaurant or bar through the 3Com Wi-Fi wireless system.
This free service increases the options of where to hold business meetings as access to the Internet and email means that workers are no longer confined to the office.
