Help customers find you. Register your business on Google Maps for free. Google Maps (http://maps.google.com) is a mapping/ Yellow Pages-like search function offered by Google Inc., Mountain View, Calif. Google Maps now offers a tab called MyMaps so users can create customized mapping experiences of trips, cities, band tours, etc. Creators of custom maps--and any type of specialty retailer or business--can issue public maps other users can utilize to find them when searching Google Maps. Users of Google Local searches are able to view relevant user-generated MyMaps, along with traditional commercial search results; or users can choose to leave their MyMaps unlisted for personal use or to share with a select group of people.
