ERLANGER, KY -- Wild Flavors, Inc., has invested S3 million in Sunwin International Neutraceuticals, Inc. to supply stevia-based sweeteners and other blends for the food and beverage industry.
Greg Horn, senior director, sweetener technology at Wild, says Sunwin is actively pursuing GRAS status on its stevia extracts from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, which must first be obtained before the companies introduce product concepts to market.
