This is the second of the 2008 IJES issues and the last in my role as interim Managing Editor. From the April 2009 issue, Professor Stephen Teo will be taking up the role. The IJES editorial process in future will be much better organised under the control of the International Employment Relations Association to whom ownership of the journal has now been transferred. We expect both the submission of manuscripts and the refereeing process to be much more efficient in the capable hands of the new journal administrator, Virginia Furse. Any enquiries about the current status of any submitted papers should be addressed to her in the first place (v.furse@uws.ed.au).
