THE sales director of Lighthouse group has been axed.
John Johnson finished work as sales director at Lighthouse last week after his position became redundant.
Last June, Lighthouse group snapped up RJ Temple's advisers and fixed assets for AGBP1m to form a new division, Temple Financial Planning. Its liabilities were not taken on in the deal.
David Hickey, chairman of the group, said that when the RJ Temple deal was done it created "three jobs directly on top of each other".
He said: "We think that John found this a bit frustrating. We think he is a nice fellow and appreciate what he has done for the company.
"We tried to find him something else within the group, but there was nothing there for him. In essence his position...
