Commercial property enhances CSC's Sipp.(CARR Sheppards Crosthwaite )(Brief Article)

CARR Sheppards Crosthwaite has launched an enhanced version of its Sipp that will include commercial property as an asset class.

The Helmsman self-invested personal pension plan, one of the first introduced in the early 1990s, will also include residential property as an investment once A-Day arrives.

The firm, a member of the Investec Group, has outsourced its administration to specialist Sipp administrator Wolanski, a decision that director Alun Evans made in anticipation of pension simplification.

Mr Evans said the move to include commercial property, and hence residential property, came about from client demand.
