FLORIDA has become the next big hot spot for overseas property as investors take advantage of pension simplification and the weakening US dollar.
This is according to research carried out by Butterfield Private Bank, which has seen a recent surge of interest in the popular British holiday destination.
Butterfield contacted a number of its pensioner trustees, such as MC Trustees, which found evidence that showed masses of inquiries regarding Florida.
Antonia Blake, marketing manager for Butterfield, urged IFAs to take note of the emerging trend.
