PETER Hicks, formerly at FundsNetwork, has joined Fidelity International to head up the company's adviser business.

Mr Hicks has led FundsNetwork's sales in the IFA channel for the past few years so he is well prepared to build adviser relations and ensure they receive the best support and service from Fidelity.

Richard Wastcoat, managing director for the UK for Fidelity, said: "Mr Hicks is one of Fidelity's most experienced UK executives with a genuine understanding of how advisers go about their business.

As a former head of the IFA sales team and more recently as the sales director for FundsNetwork, Mr Hicks is in the ideal position to take on this role."
