F&C Asset Management, the UK's fourth biggest fund manager, has announced it has received strong returns on its retail funds in the third quarter.
It had AGBP120m gross inflows in the last quarter into retail funds and a AGBP59m outflow. This has secured a net position of AGBP61m. The company has also reported a AGBP380m gross inflow into its retail funds over the whole year, giving a net position for the year of AGBP226m.
Jason Hollands, director and head of communications for F&C Asset Management, said: "This is pretty buoyant business and is spread across a number of products including Phil Doel's F&C UK Opportunities fund, launched at the start of the year, the Stewardship funds, Richard Philbin's multi-manager portfolios, the Strategic Bond...
