Commission disclosure is not acceptable, brings no advantages for consumers and only benefits large brokerages, a leading figure in the European financial adviser movement has warned.

Vincent Derudder, secretary general of the European Federation of Financial Advisers and Financial Intermediaries, which represents 200,000 intermediaries across Europe, raised the issue of commission disclosure during a hearing organised by the European Commission last week.
