Housing minister Yvette Cooper confirmed at a Hips conference last week that the packs will happen and that there will be enough energy inspectors .

More than 300 agents and other industry professionals attended the Hips Are Happening seminar at the Emirates Stadium, North London, and put their questions directly to the minister.

Ms Cooper provided a keynote speech, in which she reassured attendees that Hips will go live on 1 June and that there will be enough energy inspectors. The floor was then opened and the minister took a number of questions from the audience.
