Google creates and hosts small companies' web pages for free.

Small businesses that have yet to join the worldwide web and advertise their services online, can now have a free website hosted for them thanks to a scheme by Google. The AdWords Starter Pages allows small firms which do not yet have a web presence to build a site and begin using Google's AdWords internet advertising program.

Technophobes, undoubtedly part of Google's target group for this scheme, are well catered for. The Starter Page system offers firms a straightforward template which includes core details such as company name, trading hours, location and contact details, which can then be easily published on the internet.
