Monday
I am at work by 8.30am. The first half hour of the day is always spent catching up with my personal assistant, Becky.
We agree what needs to be done and then I am on the phone making calls to clients. It is a combination of relaying developments in the markets, courtesy calls to those I have not seen for a while, and reviewing portfolios.
At lunchtime I grab a sandwich, then in the afternoon I have three appointments, starting with a solicitor. He is always referring me clients, so it is nice to repay the favour and help him with his retirement plans. We go through his Sipp and review the portfolio. I finish about 6pm and head to the gym.
