Hain Food/Heinz In Baby Food Venture

The Hain Food Group, Inc., a specialty food company based in Uniondale, NY, has entered into a distribution and license agreement with Heinz U.S.A., a division of H.J. Heinz Company, to market and sell the Earth's Best line of organic baby food products to the natural food stores in the U.S. Heinz will continue to market and sell the line to supermarkets and certain other mass market channels.

Heinz will continue to manufacture the products in the current line and Hain has the right to develop a variety of new products for manufacture by either Heinz or third parties. Hain will share profits with Heinz on sales in excess of a base amount.
