On Nov. 16, the Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration announced its much-anticipated preliminary determination in the antidumping duty investigation of certain non-frozen apple juice concentrate from the People's Republic of China saying some product is being sold in the U.S. at unfairly low prices. The preliminary duties vary by firm, with one manufacturer unaffected while another will be faced with a 54.55% duty. The duties will affect AJC imports from China for eight of the firms up to 90 days prior to the date the announcement is published in the Federal Register .
