ACNielsen Launched Cross*Outlet Facts.

A new syndicated research tool, Cross*Outlet Facts is being marketed by ACNielsen U.S., a division of ACNielsen Corporation, Schaumburg, IL. The new product enables manufacturers and retailers alike to better follow customers in terms of which channels and individual retailers they shop for individual product categories. The new CD-ROM based tool makes use of ACNielsen Homescan data covering 120 product categories in more than 150 retail channels and accounts.

The new tool takes competition among various retail channels, such as grocery stores, mass merchandisers, warehouse clubs, etc., into account. Information will be available on a total U.S. basis or within 19 local markets.
