* Starbucks Crop., Seattle, has formed a pact with Kozmo.com, a New York-based Internet home-delivery company, which will enable Kozmo to gain presence in the coffee shops, in return for payments of $150 million over the next five years. Kozmo provides videos, snacks and other items in five U.S. cities, relying on hundreds of messengers to make most home deliveries within an hour after orders are placed online. Starbucks will install "drop boxes" at many of its 2,400 cafes in North America, making it easy for Kosmo customers to return rented movies...Wall Street Journal (Feb. 14)
