Top supermarket companies are making it clear that consolidation isn't the only game in town as food retailers focus on emerging product categories, store labels, new formats and other devices to grow the top line, according to comments made at Credit Suisse First Boston's Food and Drug Retailing Conference, reported by Supermarket News.
