DRIED PLUMS--USDA has issued an interim rule with a request for comments that would decrease the assessment rate established for the Prune Marketing Committee under Marketing Order No. 993 for the 2002-03 and subsequent crop years from $2.80 to $2.60 per ton of salable dried prunes.
