The Office of the Under Secretary for Food Safety, USDA and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, FDA, are sponsoring two public meetings in College Park, MD. The first meeting will be held on Oct. 22 to review and receive comments in preparation to develop draft U.S. positions, and the second will be held on Nov.

12 to provide information and receive public comments on the U.S. Draft positions for agenda items that will be discussed at the Codex Committee on Food Import and Export Inspection and Certification Systems, which will be held in Brisbane, Australia, Dec. 1-5, 2003.
