The incorporation of Total Quality Management (TQM) and other business practices have helped J.B. Rodgers Mechanical Contractors increase profits. Pres Ron Rodgers instituted TQM practices before it was fashionable. The formation of employee teams have helped the company analyze procurement and delivery problems as well as improve overall quality. Also the company has an employee suggestion program that has identified new markets and given employees a sense of ownership. In 1994 J.B. Rodgers hired a business planner to help it develop good business plans.
