While 61% of consumers surveyed by e-bill presentment and payment (EBPP) software firm Mobius Management Systems like the idea of online billing, 31% of them don't know if their billers present bills online and 34% don't know if the billers allow for online payments. Specifically, 82% of customers were unaware that their mortgage lenders offered e-bill presentment, followed by customers of cable providers (77%), utilities (74%), telcos (62%), credit card issuers (58%) and ISPs (47%).
