HP Wants To Stream Movies to Your Cell Phone.

HP says it's developing technology that will make it feasible to deliver movies, video and other rich content to cell phones. Examples are short movie trailers or a 15-second sports or new replays. The Yankee Group forecasts that by 2006 70% of US wireless phone users will use web surfing, game playing, viewing video highlights or video conferencing. Working with Japanese cell phone service provider DoCoMo, HP said that bandwidth alone was not enough, even with 3G phones, to deliver quality pictures. See:
