Booming market for iPod accessories.(APPLE SLICES)

Everyone loves their iPod. We all know that, and that they all like buying things for their iPod just as pet owners like buying stuff for their cats and dogs. That desire is turning the business of making accessories for iPods and other portable media players into a major industry.

We reported a few months back that J&R Music World, a major New York electronics retailer, boasted it has over 800 different iPod accessories in stock. RadioShack flyers frequently have a full page of iPod accessories. Even stores that aren't iPod resellers have a rack or two of iPod add-ons.
