IGN Entertainment's digital download retail store Direct2Drive, commonly known for its game downloads, is now offering movies, TV and anime.

It made multiyear agreements with 20th Century Fox, Lionsgate, Central Park Media and Starz Media, which includes Starz Home Entertainment and its anime company Manga Entertainment. IGN also revamped the Direc2Drive site to better highlight new content.

Film and TV shows purchased by D2D's users are directly transferable to Windows Media-compatible portable devices, which lets users take their video content with them on the go.

The video titles are available in DVD-quality 2.5 Mbps encoding. D2D uses a secure digital download service to deliver purchased content to up to two PCs and one portable device...
