The 130,000 independent artists that make their music CDs available on CD Baby will be able to create one-click access to Snocap's MyStores, which will allow their fans to buy their music online. CD Baby and Snocap said the arrangement will make it easier for independent artists to release their music on both CD and via the Internet.
Snocap's technology allows for direct artist-to-fan online distribution of music tracks. CD Baby says it's the Web's largest seller of independent music, a claim that eMusic also makes.
