Napster now available for DoCoMo handsets in Japan.(MOBILE MEDIA)

Napster is now making available its mobile digital music services to NTT DoCoMo customers in Japan through the latest line of smart-phones, the FOMA 905i series. Customers who use the Microsoft Windows Media-enabled phones will be able to directly download music over-the-air, including playlists on PCs. Napster customers in Japan will also be able to use features from the service like integrated billing, ringtone subscriptions and unlimited OTA full-length track downloads.

Napster Mobile is also available from AT&T, Dobson and SunCom in the US; KDDI in Japan; TMN in Portugal; O2 in Ireland; Swisscom in Switzerland and Claro in Puerto Rico.

Handset manufacturers who make Napster-compatible devices include Motorola, Nokia, Palm, Samsung, LG, Sony...
