Qtrax, what is left to say?(ONLINE MUSIC SERVICES)

Qtrax has been pummeled to death by the media since its Sunday announcement of 25 to 30 million free, downloadable songs, including songs from the four major record labels, none of which is true.

Qtrax was the hope beyond hope for some consumers, seeing it as the labels finally agreeing to embrace that future of digital music and ad-supported models, but this herald of change was merely spitting into the wind.

Warner Music was the first to say that Qtrax was misspeaking by putting out a statement saying that it "had not authorized the use of our content on Qtrax's recently announced service." Oops. Universal Music Group and EMI soon followed suit, confirming that they did not have licensing deals with Qtrax. Sony BMG also said that there was no deal...
