Studios target Newzbin over file-sharing.(LEGAL MATTERS)

The movie studio trade group the Motion Picture Association (MPA) it taking aim at the UK Usenet newsgroup search engine Newzbin, accusing it of copyright infringement.

The MPA, big brother to the MPAA, is suing for copyright infringement. The case is expected to be heard late this year or early in 2010.

Usenet is a per-to-peer (P2P) service that generally gets overlooked in cases of file-sharing and media downloads, generally because it is much more difficult for everyday users than BitTorrent or other P2P services.
