Monroe, Mich.-- High Point University President Nido Qubein has been nominated to serve a three-year term on La-Z-Boy's board of directors.

Qubein, 57, became president of the university in January 2005. He also serves as chairman of Great Harvest Bread Co., public relations company McNeill Lehman Inc. and Creative Services, an international management consulting firm.
