APL logistics dubs gulisano senior VP

APL Logistics, Oakland, Calif., announced that it has named Vincent F. Gulisano senior vice president of global sales, marketing and solutions engineering.

Gulisano is responsible for leading the company's solutions engineering group, which designs and implements comprehensive logistics and supply chain solutions, as well as overseeing global sales efforts, including planning, administration and proposal development, APL said.

Gulisano has nearly 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the logistics and supply chain industry, the company said.

APL Logistics is a global provider of supply chain management services. It ranks No. 11 on the 2002 TRANSPORT TOPICS Logistics 50 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian logistics companies.
