Two drivers for Northeast Mississippi Coca-Cola Bottling Co. helped free a child from a car submerged in water, according to a report in the Starkville (Miss.) Daily News. And, the news account said, they have appealed to the community to further help the child's family.
The newspaper reported the following account:
As drivers David Robertson and Tony Busby were driving through a remote area north of Mobile, Ala., they spotted a young boy standing beside the highway, whose mother was calling for help. The mother, Kim Deese, was screaming that another child was trapped in a car that was submerged in the water of a draining ditch.
