Arrow Truck Sales Names Heikel CEO

Pre-owned truck dealer Arrow Truck Sales, a Kansas City, Mo., subsidiary of the Volvo Group, said it had named Carl Heikel its chief executive officer, effective Aug. 1.
Arrow said it operates 19 locations in the United States and Canada, maintaining an inventory of 2,000 medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks.
The company said Heikel would succeed Ed Justis, who was leaving to pursue other interests.
Heikel was most recently managing director of Volvo Trucks de Mexico, a position he held since May 2000, Arrow said. Before taking his current assignment in Mexico, he spent three years as vice president in charge of used truck activity for Volvo Truck Corp.'s European division, Arrow said.
