Forward Air CFO Clarke Joins Pacer International Board

Andrew Clarke, chief financial officer for air freight hauler Forward Air Corp., has been appointed to the board of directors at intermodal and logistics provider Pacer International.

Clarke will become chairman of Pacer's audit committee, Pacer announced. He fills the position formerly held by John Tague of United Airlines, who resigned due to his increasing duties at the airline, Pacer said.

Don Orris, Pacer's chairman and chief executive officer, said Clarke would "bring strong financial and accounting skills to Pacers board, as well as substantial expertise in the field of freight logistics."

Forward Air provides scheduled surface transportation through its 80 terminals located on or near U.S. and Canadian airports. - Transport Topics
